Enrollment

To begin the enrollment process please call to schedule a tour with a director. We provide an application for you at that time. Enrollment preference is given to students enrolling for the entire school year and is dependent on the current availability of space and status of the classes. Prefrence is also given to siblings of past or current Woodland students.

For the Toddler classes, the age of admission is 18 months to 3 years. The class sizes in the Toddler House are 8 children in TH1, 18 months-2yrs old and 10 children in TH2 2-3 yrs old. When the toddlers are ready, they are phased into the preschool classes with the help of staff and family.

The preschool classes serve children between 3-6 years old and class sizes are 23-25 children. We ask that children be toilet-trained for the preschool program (exceptions can be made for special needs children).

Family tuition discount
Families enrolling more than one child in a school year receive a tuition discount of 10% for the child with lower tuition. Woodland also participates in state, county, and city tuition assistance programs, and the UW-Madison CCTAP program.

Application fee
A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $100 is required for each new child and is due when the application for admission is submitted. NOTE: Families enrolling more than one child in the same academic year need only pay $50 for the second child.

Deposit
A $100 deposit is required for each child enrolled and is due at the time of acceptance into the program. The deposit is refunded the last month of your tuition agreement or with 30 days written notice of termination.

Lunch and snacks
Children bring their own lunch to school in a lunch box. We are happy to provide suggestions for healthy meals. Woodland will provide snacks throughout the day.
