Classroom 2 June in Review

Summer Camp is in full motion! We have enjoyed both the outdoor classroom and our indoor work cycle. The children are busy working in the ladybug tent with flashlights, Preparing fruits and vegetables for snack, and sharing their favorite books during line time.

We are so happy to have Breana with our class, she is a student from the Early Childhood Education program at Madison College. She will join us on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9-12 pm. Some of the children are familiar with Breana because she was a part of our class this past spring. She is so excited to get to know the new campers and she's looking forward to building relationships with everyone!

Thank you to all who donated to the Hungry Hero's Food drive! We loved collecting all the canned goods and talking about showing kindness to our neighbors. It is such a great way to model grace and courtesy to others.

We had the Aldo Leopold Nature Center come and do an activity with the children. Ask your child about the animals they could pet. Hint: Owl, Mountain Lion, Weasel!

Just a reminder that Swimming will resume July 6th and that Lisa will be on vacation July 25-July 30.
