Classroom 4 June Newsletter

Hello from classroom four. It’s been a very busy and exciting time for our classroom. Starting with grandparents day! I hope all the grandparents enjoyed the time spent watching and helping their little ones. It was really nice to see all the smiles on everyone’s faces.

The farm was excellent. Each group was given a chance to make lunch for the pigs and ducks and help feed them. Then on to “a day in the life” of ducks, pigs, emus, sheep, and goats, where we went through a typical day for the animals and farmers that take care of them. We walked out into the pasture and had up close time with the sheep, goats, emus, miniature horse, donkeys, and pigs. We finished the trip off with lunch where we could watch the llamas resting in the grass. Thanks to all the parents who came with us, your help was very appreciated. A perfect farm day!

The sing along is this Friday. We have been talking about what it means to put on a performance and what it means to be part of an audience. The children are all very excited to be part of both. I hope you all can make it. It’s one of my favorite days of the year.

It’s been a wonderful year. Thanks for helping to make Woodland such a special place. David
