Kindergarten June Newsletter
Kindergarten has been so busy these past few weeks! We have been working hard preparing for our Talent Show, a show that is sure to deliver! The Talent Show follows the Preschool Sing-Along on June 7th. All of the Kindergarteners play a part, and put in so much hard work to make this show come to fruition.
In addition to our work on the Talent Show, we also had the pleasure to enjoy the pond before it was drained for the season. We found fish and toads and birds - oh my! The children were so involved and experienced such a sense of awe and wonder. We are so fortunate to have this treasure right here in our neighborhood.
Most importantly, we have been caring for our beautiful baby chicks! A group of Kindergarten students worked hard to make this project come to fruition. There were meetings to be scheduled, budgets to be figured, funds to be raised, and eggs to order. All of this hard work paid off as we are now care takers for 5 baby chicks. What an incredible project to see these children work on and experience! It has brought joy to the whole school, from toddlers all the way up to us adults.
Please watch your email for more information regarding the last day of school Kindergarten celebration. We will have a picnic lunch and Kindergarten "graduation". More details to come!
