Tuition Assistance Program

Tuition Assistance Program

Woodland is now accepting tuition assistance applications for the 2020-21 school. During the current school year, Woodland’s Tuition Assistance Program has helped 15 families. The program is funded by proceeds raised at the annual auction as well as dollars allocated in Woodland’s annual budget. Tuition assistance amounts can range from $50.00 per month to $250.00 per month. Woodland also awards to 2 Kindergarten scholarships which covers tuition for kindergarten programming (12:30 - 3:15).

The Scholarship Committee awards tuition assistance to families that demonstrate a financial need. The Tuition Assistance Program gives first priority families already receiving tuition assistance. The next level of priority is given to currently enrolled families whose financial circumstances have changed. The third level of priority is given to families new to Woodland.

If your family is interested in tuition assistance for the upcoming school year, here is how to apply.

  • Fill out an application (located on our website: woodland-montessori.org, hard copies are also outside the upstairs office)

  • Include a cover letter explaining any special circumstances

  • Proof of current income (most recent tax return, current w-2s or recent pay stubs)

Completed applications and materials can be returned to Jim in the upstairs office or emailed to: jim@woodland-montessori.org. For currently enrolled families, applications are due February 14th, 2020. The deadline for new families offered spots for the upcoming school year is March 1st, 2020.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Woodland’s Tuition Assistance Program or if you need help completing your application (jim@woodland-montessori.org). Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the silent auction and to Woodland’s Tuition Assistance Program, you truly do make a difference.
