How do I find out more?

Please contact the Head of School to discuss questions about supporting us at director@woodland-montessori.org.  Click "Donate Now" to make a single or recurring donation.  Support the school by participating in our Annual Auction event and/or purchasing Montessori materials for our classrooms, which are also linked on the left.  The following slides share details about how we utilize donations.

How can I help support WMS?

We ask for active participation in the life of the school.  Participation comes in many forms including volunteering time, talents, and resources as well as donating financial support.  Participation unites us in supporting a place we all love and demonstrates commitment to the children in our school.

Do small donations really matter?

A majority of the donations we collect are under $50.00.  Every donation counts and adds

up to help us with our mission.

Why not increase tuition?

WMS strives to keep tuition as affordable as possible.  We value having a school community that reflects a wide diversity of racial, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. As is the case with most independent schools, tuition does not cover the total cost of educating each student. Monetary contributions bridge this gap and further our goal in providing an exceptional Montessori education to many in our greater community.

How do I donate money to WMS?

There are many ways to donate.  All donations are tax deductible.  Large sum donations can be dropped off or mailed to our school. Recurring donations can be set up electronically. Bequests save estate tax dollars and have an enduring impact on the school for many generations. Please contact our Head of School, Erin Trondson, at (608) 256-8076 or by email at director@woodland-montessori.org.  The Head of School will coordinate with WMS's Director of Development to process and honor your gift to the school.

How do I volunteer at WMS?

There are many ways to volunteer at WMS.  For volunteer opportunities, please email our Enrichment Coordinator, Ambra, at abhart@woodland-montessori.org.  You are always welcome to check in with your child's teacher regarding classroom opportunities such as reading, sharing a talent, providing a snack, or other valuable gifts of your time.
