Dear Classroom 1 families the summer is sadly coming to an end and we would like to thank you all for such an amazing time together. It was so wonderful to get to know you all and to spend such magic moments with your children each day. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's summer childhood memories! We'd hope that they enjoyed it just as much as the teachers! We would like to thank Kathy, Kit’s Nonna for visiting our class and presenting a lesson on patterns. We enjoyed making patterned worms with beads, pipe cleaners and googly eyes.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the parent volunteers who helped us get to and from the pool on Fridays. Thank you to those of you who have donated delicious snacks to our classroom. We appreciate all of your generosity.
The back pack drive was a huge success! We were able to fill 25 backpack with school supplies.Thank you to all of you who were able to donate supplies to help our community. As Montessorians we know the importance to always use our privilege, resources, talents and time to help our community. Thank you all for being such great leaders in teaching our children the importance of helping others!
We wish you and your child all the best in the next steps of your Journey! Whether you are staying at Woodland for the next academic school year or moving on to another school. May you all have a wonderful fall/ 2019-2020 School year! And Like we have taught the children to say "May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be peaceful!" We will miss you all very much.
